Countdown the Month of Ramadan: Ramadan Daily Quotes & Sayings for 30 days

Ramadan daily inspirations

I have prepared inspiring quotes and verses from Quran for each day of the month of Ramadan. This post is my gift to you to inspire you on the countdown of the month of Ramadan for 30 days.

3 parts or 3 stages of the month of Ramadan

"Ramadan is the month whose beginning is mercy, whose middle is forgiveness, and whose end is freedom from fire."

According to this hadith, Ramadan is divided into 3 parts called Ashras. With the inspiration of this hadith, I separated the inspiring quotes and verses of the Qur’an into 3 parts-Ashras.

First Ashra of the month of Ramadan: mercy

There is guidance from the hadith saying that the month of Ramadan is starting with mercy. Why is that?

The month of Ramadan is a journey and like all the journeys it is full of ups and downs. To walk in your path, you need self-compassion first and soften your heart. Self-love is the entrance for the love of the Beloved.

That is why you need to build a nice relationship with yourself on this journey. Practice mercy so that you can feel the mercy of God for you during the journey of Life. That is why we start with mercy before all.

Second Ashra of the month of Ramadan: forgiveness

One day they asked Rabi’a, what if a person that did awfully bad things repents, would God accept his/her repent?

Rabi’a answered, if God would not grant the person to repent, he/she even would not be able to repent. They can repent because God has already forgiven them.

Being able to repent, ask for forgiveness, is being aware. Only those who are slow enough to be aware of their evils can ask for forgiveness. This is the mercy of God.

Therefore when your heart is full of sorrow and asks for forgiveness, remember that Ramadan is starting with mercy. Have mercy for yourself and be content that you are aware enough of your sins so that you can ask for forgiveness.

You can only be vulnerable in a safe place. You need this safe place to be brave enough to open yourself. So that slowly you can get your mask out. First, you will be aware that you are wearing masks then that you will understand that you are full of masks then you will hold space for your grief for all those masks you have, and then slowly you will leave those masks, and then you will be free.

“When Allah makes us aware of a sin we committed, He is not punishing us, but rather inviting us toward His presence. In this way, the moment we are drawn to sincere repentance, we are in effect unveiling the forgiveness that Allah has already written for us to experience. If you have sins piling up to the clouds and then ask My forgiveness, I will forgive you without any reservation. O child of Adam! If you come to me with enough mistakes to fill the Earth and meet Me without associating anything as a partner with Me, I will come to you with enough forgiveness to fill the Earth.” [Sahīh Muslim (2687)]

The third Ashra is the last 10 days of Ramadan, it is when the night of power is.

“We have indeed revealed this in the Night of Power’. And what will explain to you what the night of power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. The last 10 days of Ramadan are for deep reflection and inquiry, getting closer to yourself and the One. It is time when your heart will unite the seeing and knowing and from there Love will be.
